Thank you for visiting my website. I started my doctoral studies at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University in the Fall of 2007 after working in industry for nearly 10 years. I am currently in my third year of study in the Management Information Systems (MIS) department and am nearly finished with my course requirements. At this point I am focusing almost entirely on my research, with my main interest in information security, particularly those issues that can be affected by management. I am also interested in strategic management and electronic markets. In regards to teaching, I am currently the instructor for a course on programming for business applications.
Given that Information Security is my primary area of research interest, I became affiliated with the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) here at Purdue University early in my PhD studies. CERIAS is a leading multidisciplinary organization for advancing cyber security research, education, and awareness. I attend weekly CERIAS research workshops, giving me the opportunity to stay abreast of the latest academic and industry research. I plan to present my research on digital piracy at one of the workshops this Winter.
Upon completing my studies at Purdue I plan to enter academia as a professor of management information systems. Please visit my contact information page if you would like further information about me or the MIS program here at Krannert.
